Commomdity 1 - Spatial Relationship
Spatial relationships have been determined around there function. The living area being the heart of the house all other amenities lead directly to the ‘heart’. Privacy has been established by proximity to adjacent amenity, due in part of the size of the cabin, a modest 70m ², much of the cabin can become fully private as and when needed.
Commodity 2 - Structural Simplicity
Unobstructed circulation and rooms allow for occupants to fully utilize the entire house.
Commomdity 3 - Functionality
Functionality is demonstrated in the proposed cabin by: double access to the building, the reduced footprint allows for an external landscaped patio; study hidden away from site, large rooms, shower room separated from main bathroom, kitchen is against a single wall maximising living/dining area and a private balcony serves the bedroom.
